QuickBooks is accounting software that is extensively used by small as well as medium organizations to keep record of their financial records in a systematic order. However, due to certain reasons the application displays a number of error messages. Have you gone through a situation when you tried to open the QuickBooks application but instead encountered an error message like the following?
The error typically appears when you try to open the application and access any data stored in it. This leads to severe problems for the QuickBooks users because the data stored in it is extremely important for the proper functioning of any organization. The QB Help Error 00001 59204 appears on those systems which have Windows Vista running and also have the Windows sidebar turned on. This is because on these systems a conflict is created between the QuickBooks Help module and Windows sidebar.
The problem can be resolved by following a few simple steps as mentioned below:
- Turn the Windows sidebar off temporarily.
- Now right click on the Windows sidebar icon in system tray and click Exit.
- Now open the QuickBooks application. When the sidebar is turned off the QuickBooks Help can now open properly without the error.
If the problem persists try the following steps:
- Turn off Windows sidebar permanently. When Windows starts the sidebar automatically starts. This is because of the checkbox being checked for automatically starting the sidebar when Windows starts. Uncheck the option in the permanent window to disable the feature permanently.
- In the system tray choose Properties by right-clicking the sidebar icon.
- Uncheck the checkbox in Windows sidebar and then click on OK.
These two solutions would surely help you get rid of the error. However, if you are not able to do so then you need to use an efficient and reliable QuickBooks data recovery tool to access the entire data stored in the QuickBooks application that has gone inaccessible as you cannot even open the application.
